Dual Diagnosis
Arrowhead Behavioral Health offers a specialized type of treatment for co-occurring disorders. Our Dual-Diagnosis treatment model focuses on identifying both mental health and substance abuse disorders and treating them simultaneously. Patients are first stabilized according to their most acute need, whether it is psychiatric or substance abuse. Once stabilized, they are exposed to programming that educates them and assists them in identifying all aspects of their illness. By utilizing group therapy modalities as well as the 12-step process, Arrowhead lays the foundation for early recovery that will assist them well beyond their initial treatment. A strong alumni support group and in-house AA meetings provide additional support.
