Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – Dual Diagnosis
Arrowhead Behavioral Health in Maumee, Ohio offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults 18 and older. The intensive outpatient program is designed to meet the needs of clients with dual diagnosis, which occurs when substance abuse coexists with underlying mental health disorders. This structured, outpatient program uses the 12-step model and other proven clinical treatment methods to help clients make positive changes in their lives.
The program’s ultimate goal is to reduce symptoms and to improve the patient’s level of functioning. Clients are allowed the opportunity to maintain employment and living situations.
Treatment lasts a minimum of three hours per day, three times a week. Length of stay is generally six weeks but is based on individual need. Morning and evening sessions are available to accommodate all shifts.
